I am an AI engineer and veterinary surgeon with 18 years’ experience in clinical practice. I have worked for 4 years as a consultant AI engineer supporting  organisations in the responsible design, evaluation, and governance of AI systems, with a focus on ensuring AI is safe, effective, and aligned with regulatory, professional, and ethical standards. I advise Vet Validaite on how to effectively audit AI systems in the animal health sector and I am a guest lecturer at the University of Sheffield on evaluation and security of large language models.
