I am an AI engineer and veterinary surgeon with 18 years’ experience in clinical practice. As a consultant AI engineer I support  organisations in the responsible design, evaluation, and governance of AI systems, with a focus on ensuring AI is safe, effective, and aligned with regulatory, professional, and ethical standards. I recently delivered a guest lecture at the University of Sheffield on evaluation and security of large language models.

Through VetEdAI, I help veterinary professionals and organisations build practical AI literacy and organisational AI readiness from understanding AI tools to evaluating risk and developing clear AI use policies.​
